Veluwonen

Veluwonen is a housing cooperative that offers people with a modest income a house that they can turn into a home.

“It must have been in 2013 that we started looking for a provider for paperless meetings. In doing so, we encountered various parties. One with a visually very attractive system, the other a bit simpler in design. The choice fell on Petear, the WIND Internet application: with sufficient options for us at an attractive price, an excellent price-quality ratio.”

Alie Voskamp of Sprengenland Wonen is speaking. Within the organization she works in the field of board support, PR and communication. Sprengenland Wonen is a housing corporation that manages 2.700 homes for 13 villages and has 21 employees.

Without paper

“The management team initially met with Petear. The group of six people meets fortnightly and exchanged a lot on paper. The meeting participants arrived at the meeting with all documents printed. That is no longer necessary. They now come with the tablet and read all the pieces in Petear. It also works quickly for the secretariat. You create a meeting, add the agenda and the documents and publish everything. Participants will then receive an email that the meeting has been created. A document can also be added or changed after publication.”

Now everyone has the same version of the document in front of them

The Supervisory Board, consisting of five people, is now also meeting with Petear. “They do that about 5 to 6 times a year. I prepare the meeting fourteen days in advance so that everyone has enough time to read the documents. It took some time getting used to the new way of meeting and now en the a paper version is put on the table. But that is much less and everyone can now easily read the same version from the tablet.”
